Welcome to my collection from what might be called, the great American "rural" songbook, tunes from the early days of recorded Hillbilly music from the 1920's and 30's.

 

Recorded at Rosewood studios in New Castle PA. September 13th and 14th, 2024.

Engineered and mixed by Wes Homner.

Produced by Brett Howland and Wes Homner.

 

Cut #16 acoustically recorded on a 1906 vintage Edison cylinder machine in Lebanon, TN. Februaray, 2003 by Martin Fisher of Nashville.

 

Lyrics of "Little Old Log Cabin In the Lane" are original as recorded by Fiddlin' John Carson and Uncle John Scruggs, historically accurate with no disrespect intended to any people or persons.
